  • Assisting clients in complex property negotiations and Court litigation where one or both parties have received inheritances or introduced significant assets into the relationship or during the relationship.

  • Ensuring a spouse in the vulnerable position of having limited income had urgent and regular access to fund.

  • Successfully arguing the return to a previously existing arrangement after many months of our client not seeing their child.

  • Assisting clients with prenuptial agreements and other Financial Agreements.

  • Matters involving serious mental health issues, addiction issues or other risk issues.

  • Complex parenting arrangements involving very young children.

  • Surrogacy matters and obtaining parentage Orders in the Supreme Court.

  • Matters where there is a dispute about whether Australia or another country is a better forum to deal with a dispute.

  • Preparing settlement agreements to protect the property rights of clients.

  • Matters involving family or domestic violence allegations and proceedings in either the Magistrates Court/Local Courts/Family Law Court concerning domestic violence or family violence matters.

  • Urgently preventing the unilateral sale or disposal of property by one spouse or partner;

  • Matters where a spouse or partner is “out of time” to commence financial proceedings against the other spouse or partner;

  • Matters where inheritances have been received either during the relationship or after separation.
